Dentures & Partials in Beaverton

Are you considering dentures to replace missing teeth? Do you currently wear dentures but are frustrated because they’re uncomfortable and don’t fit well?

At Neish Dentistry, we understand these challenges. Dr. Bryan Neish is a dentist in Beaverton, OR, committed to designing quality dentures that fit precisely, look natural, and enhance your facial appearance.

Types of Dentures We Offer

woman holding dentures | Beaverton OR DentistDentures are prosthetic teeth customized to fit your jaw perfectly so they fit snugly and comfortably against the gums. Every patient’s smile is unique, so no two sets of dentures we create are alike.

Full Dentures

Full or complete dentures are for those who need to replace all missing teeth in their upper or lower arch or both. We can also stabilize your replacement teeth with dental implants, which are called implant-retained dentures.

Partial Dentures

We recommend partial dentures for those missing a few upper or lower teeth. Partials consist of artificial teeth attached to a flexible resin base for total comfort. We design them to fill the gaps in your smile and attach securely to adjacent teeth with clasps.

Denture Upgrade

If you’re frustrated by dentures that slip and shift, causing awkward and embarrassing moments, we have the solution! Dr. Neish can upgrade your dentures to incorporate dental implants that stay securely in place no matter what.

Why Choose Implant-Supported Dentures in Beaverton

Modern dentures have come a long way. They look natural and fit the contours of your gums. But implant dentures are the way to go if you want a fixed tooth replacement solution. See the boxes below to learn more about the benefits.

Support Jawbone Health

Dental implants protect your jawbone against deterioration, which can lead to a prematurely aged appearance in the lower face and oral health complications later.

Enjoy Peace-of-Mind

With implant dentures, you never have to worry about your prosthetic slipping or rocking inside the mouth. You'll feel at ease, knowing your smile is locked in.

Diversify Your Diet

Dental implants are strong, so you can enjoy all your favorite foods again without hassle. Indulge in crunchy veggies and eat the foods you thought you'd left behind.

What to Expect When Getting Dentures

Getting dentures requires several appointments. You deserve replacement teeth and a smile you can be proud to share, so it’s crucial that you are delighted with the final results.

Using digital impressions, Dr. Neish takes precise measurements of your jaws to ensure a perfect fit. We can also use the same technology to digitally design your dentures and give you a preview of your new smile.

We will also create a mockup called a wax try-in, a prototype that is the final step before fabricating your dentures. Using the try-in, we’ll work with you to determine the perfect positioning, color, shape, and fit for the denture teeth. When we are both satisfied with the look and fit, a dental lab creates your custom denture.

From the start, we want you to feel comfortable and confident with your new teeth. To ensure a perfect fit and feel, you can expect several follow-up appointments to make adjustments as needed.

Getting Used to Dentures

New dentures always require an adjustment period. They may initially feel awkward until you get used to having them in your mouth and adjust to speaking and eating with them in place. Our best advice is to be patient with yourself and call us promptly if you experience any lingering soreness or pain.

If you accidentally break or damage your dentures, don’t worry. With all the details and measurements in our digital records, we can use our 3-D printer to create a beautiful replacement.
